Hello and welcome to the Devonshire Primary School ICT page. Here at Devonshire we are very fortunate to have a fantastic new school built with ICT in mind. Therefore we have the capabilities to be very flexible and creative with our ICT use. Our school is fully wireless and we have very few desktop computers as we feel that the future is technology that is portable and can be brought to us, instead of us going to the technology. All our staff have had laptops for a long time now to teach with, and now we feel the children should have the same opportunity to use laptops in their classes. As a creative school we have embraced the use of Apple Mac computers, which enable us to animate, create videos and Podcast, to name just a few things. There are many other technologies that we use on a daily basis, and thanks to our ICT council and our parents we have a better picture of what our community would like to see in their school.
