Children's University Graduation
30 June 2015
This afternoon many of our children graduated from The Children's University. All the children involved have achieved their diplomas for taking part in clubs and groups outside of the school day. Well done to each and every one of them and thank you to all the parents who support.

Last Friday 10 of our children attended a computing event called 'Hackpool'. This was the largest free coding event in the UK. We were challenged to set up and code a Raspberry Pi computer to light up a matrix of LED's called a 'Unicorn HAT'. We had great fun and managed to code a sequence incorporating our school colours and the England flag. We worked hard to win the prize of designing the light sequence for Blackpool Tower, but sadly we didn't win. We will come back stronger next year!
Computing at the CLC
18 May 2015
A group of thirteen boys and girls attended their first session at the CLC, to learn all about Raspberry Pi computers. We had a great afternoon learning how to set them up and started to manipulate codes to exact changes. We can't wait to start exploring with our new Raspberry Pi computers in school and see what we can do with them! Watch this space, our future computer scientists have been born! Is the world safe?
Our New Arrival
